Victor Xaba, former deputy ceo at Denel Aerostructures, has been appointed acting ceo of SA Express, effective April 10.

Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown supported the secondment of Victor, which was proposed following extensive consultations between the boards of Denel and SA Express, and the Department of Public Enterprises.

Victor’s appointment follows Inati Ntshanga’s departure as ceo of the airline on March 31.

Minister Brown said Victor was well aware of the challenges SA Express faced and was well-equipped with the technical and strategic management skills to help the airline achieve its strategic goals for sustainability.
