Flight CX123 will depart Hong Kong at 20h45 on Wednesdays and Sundays, arriving in Christchurch at 12h55 next day. CX123 will depart Hong Kong on Fridays at 14h50, arriving in Christchurch at 07h00 next day.

The return flight, CX126, will depart Christchurch at 14h25 on Mondays and Thursdays, arriving in Hong Kong at 20:55. CX126 departs Christchurch at 08h30 on Saturdays and arrives in Hong Kong at 15h00.

Rakesh Raicar, country manager of Cathay Pacific Southern Africa and Indian Ocean, says the new route will meet customer demand for travel to New Zealand throughout the Southern hemisphere’s peak summer months.

“We believe this new service makes this magnificent part of the world more accessible to South African travellers.”
