A strike by Italian air traffic controllers, which was due to take place on July 5, will now take place on July 26 from 13h00 to 17h00, according to Easy Travel Report.

Flights across Italy will likely be brought forward, delayed or even cancelled. Travellers are advised to check the status of their flight in advance.

Anneli van den Berg, sales and marketing executive of Alitalia, says the airline has no plans to bring forward, delay or cancel flights as yet. eTNW will provide updates on this story.
