Air Canada introduces Signature Service Today's News

Air Canada introduced its new Signature Service this week, offering an enhanced travel experience for customers flying in Air Canada Signature class, the airline’s premium offering.

The new service will be available on all international flights operated by wide-body aircraft, but will launch initially on selected flights within Canada and the United States (including daily flights from Vancouver, Los Angeles, and San Francisco to Toronto) on June 1.

Signature Service customers will have access to an airport concierge service, expedited check-in and security clearance, priority baggage handling and preferential boarding. They will also have Air Canada Maple Leaf lounge access, and eligible customers travelling internationally from Toronto-Pearson will be able to make use of the Air Canada Signature Suite, which features an à la carte restaurant with dishes created by Canadian chef, David Hawksworth.

New amenities will include on-board menu items on lunch and dinner service in North America; a south Asian menu by chef Vikram Vij on flights to Mumbai and New Delhi, with an expanded wine selection chosen by Air Canada sommelier Veronique Rivest; enhanced amenity kits by Want Les Essentiels, for international travellers; mattress pads to enhance the sleep experience; and Air Canada Valet Service for full-fare premium cabin customers originating from Toronto-Pearson, or arriving at Toronto-Pearson on a domestic flight with onward international travel.
