InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has launched a new upscale brand, voco, with the group planning to open 200 voco hotels in the next 10 years.

Voco will initially be rolled-out in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, and will be introduced in the Americas and Greater China over time.

Last month IHG announced its expansion of its luxury and upscale estate in the UK. IHG has signed 13 hotels in the UK which it will rebrand and operate, and a number of these properties will be converted into the new voco brand in the next few months.
