Lufthansa customers in more German cities will soon be able to book a seamless journey to their flight by train.

The number of Lufthansa Express Rail stations with services to Frankfurt/Main, offered in co-operation with Deutsche Bahn, will gradually increase from eight to 20, as new stations are added in Göttingen, Kassel, Erfurt and Aachen, starting this month.

Freiburg and Ulm follow in December and the expansion of Essen, Bochum, Duisburg, Wuppertal, Oberhausen and Bonn, should be completed in early summer next year.

Up to eight daily services from each station provide a convenient connection to Lufthansa flights in Frankfurt. Lufthansa Express Rail guests can also benefit from seat reservation included in the price, earning Miles & More miles and a guaranteed connection.

In the event of an unexpected delay of a train or flight, Lufthansa will change guests to a connection free of charge. Business-class guests can travel in the first-class carriages of Deutsche Bahn and have access to the DB lounges.
