Alitalia and Costa Cruises have launched a new service for cruise passengers disembarking at Civitavecchia.

The service is launched in co-operation with the Italian customs agency (Agenzia Dogane e Monopoli-ADM) for Lazio and Abruzzo, the Rome Cruise Terminal and Aeroporti di Roma.

The new service will allow guests travelling on Costa Diadema and who have purchased a ‘fly&cruise’ package with a return Alitalia flight departing from Rome Fiumicino airport, to check in and drop off their baggage at the Civitavecchia cruise terminal.

The service makes the procedures between Civitavecchia and Rome Fiumicino airport quicker and easier, enhancing the attractiveness of both the airport and the cruise terminal for travellers.
