Breaking: SAA cancels weekend JHB-HKG flights Today's News

SAA has cancelled flights between Johannesburg and Hong Kong this weekend, due Typhoon Manghkut.

The following flights are cancelled:

September 15: SA286 – Johannesburg to Hong Kong 
September 16: SA287 – Hong Kong to Johannesburg
September 16: SA286 – Johannesburg to Hong Kong
September 17: SA287 – Hong Kong to Johannesburg

SAA spokesperson, Tlali Tlali, said: “SAA has been working closely with the weather services in Hong Kong, closely monitoring the trajectory of the typhoon and the timing of the potential impact.”

The carrier says it will continue to monitor weather conditions and advise customers accordingly.
