UK VI unblocks bulk UK visa payments Today's News

UK VI, the official UK embassy website for visa applications, has reversed the system upgrade that resulted in bank cards being blocked after five visa application payments.

This took place after the local TLSContact team assisted the trade in escalating their concerns to the UK VI head office.

Visa processing companies had battled to secure appointments for UK visa applications for seven days after their bank cards were blocked as appointments cannot be secured without payment.

Brian Kruger, md of 4UK and Worldwide visas, said TLS told him the system update had originally been made to protect consumers against fraud. “However, this totally disregarded how the trade operates.”

Now that the upgrade has been reversed bank cards are no longer limited to five payments.
