A bus strike in Brisbane is expected to affect travel across the city this week, ABC News reports.

The action will occur between 04h30 and 06h30 tomorrow and Wednesday (July 18 and 19). It is expected to congest traffic around the city, meaning journeys will take longer than normal.

Travellers are advised to allow extra travel time, especially when heading to the airport.
